The Sunshine Castle in Bli Bli is an award winning tourist attraction and function venue
We are seeking an all rounder with experience in hospitality, tourism & food preparation/cooking and a strong background in customer service to join our team. Your position will involve customer service, cafe operations and coordination, short order cooking and function food preparation, event coordination & customer service.
The position on offer is very diverse and multifaceted. Your time will be spent in between front counter, castle duties and coordination of kitchen, food preparation and cooking including stock taking and ordering. We are a small family run business with only 3 full time staff so your day can involve any of the above and more! There is never a dull moment amongst our wenches, wizards and nobles! Please note – that this is not a pure kitchen orientated position, although our team requires someone with a passion for food – you will be required to do all the other jobs involved in our business and willing and able to work longer hours during busy periods.
We will train you to become confident in function operations, cooking sole charge as well as casual staff supervision. The position is casual to start with but may turn permanent for the right candidate. Our rosters are held flexible according to work load but availability on weekends and evenings is essential. A current RSA certificate and food safety supervisor certificate would be great but not crucial.
The right person for this position will be outgoing, warm, not afraid to get their hands dirty and able to work in a high pressure environment! You must be able to take initiative and to work unsupervised. If this sounds like you apply today!
